Silver Needle is considered China’s finest white tea. In April, in the beautiful mountains of China’s Fujian Province, the perfect, downy buds are picked from a Da Bai Hao tea tree and sun dried. The picking period lasts only ten days whilst the buds are at their most succulent.
In August, the tea is laid underneath a bed of fresh jasmine flowers for five consecutive nights, fusing the sweet and delicate white tea with the fresh and fragrant jasmine aromas. The jasmine itself is selected from Hengxian, Guangxi, China - the most renowned area for quality jasmine.
